Georgios became part of the Lighthouse Europe team in June 2023. 

 

He advocates for our clients, specializing in digital, competition and intellectual property (IP) matters, such as Standard Essential Patents (SEPs).

 

Leveraging his prior experience in programming, Georgios possesses technical knowledge in AI, covering Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

In addition to his practical experience, he holds certifications in Machine Learning and Data Science, which further enhances his expertise in the field, by understanding complex AI structures and the way they work.

 

Prior to joining Lighthouse Europe, he worked as a lawyer specializing in Competition and European Law in Brussels. He also served as a legal intern at the Hellenic Competition Commission in Athens, where he focused on FinTech and bank-related matters.

 

George holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and a Master's Degree in Competition and IP Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a thesis in Artificial Intelligence and Competition Law.

 

He speaks Greek, English and German.
